About…
Background:
HARWOOD PR was launched in 2019. Prior to this, I worked for more than 10 years in-house at some of the UK’s biggest publishers, including Hachette UK and Penguin Random House (where I ended my time as an Acting Publicity Director). Throughout my career, I have worked on both fiction and non-fiction books, and with a vast range of authors. I am known for my creative and passionate approach to campaigns, and have previously been nominated for seven industry awards.
I’ve worked with some of the biggest, bestselling names in fiction – across crime thrillers, romance novels, and contemporary fiction – as well as launching debut authors. My non-fiction campaigns have been extremely diverse – from a rock climber to an astronaut; WWII codebreakers and pop stars; a polar explorer and a police officer; politicians, scientists, and more. I love sharing great stories.
Since turning freelance, clients have included Penguin Random House, DK, HarperCollins, Simon&Schuster, Bloomsbury, Mirror Books, Elliott & Thompson, and the Irish Cultural Centre. Following a period of parental leave, I returned to running HARWOOD PR in 2023.
